Every year tens of millions of wild salmon make the incredible migration to their natal streams in Bristol Bay.
This is their story.
The Renewable Resources Foundation, Alaska Marine Conservation Council and Alaska Youth for Environmental Action and World Wildlife Fund had a float in the Fur Rondy Parade to celebrate Wild Alaskan Salmon and to bring awareness to the issues that could affect Bristol Bay, Alaska, one of which is the fight against the proposed Pebble Mine development.
