The Renewable Resources Coalition and Foundation is looking for a person with a passion for fishing, hunting and the protection of Bristol Bay to work as the Sportsman Outreach Coordinator at sportsman shows throughout the state. The position involves setting up, taking down and working at the booth during the shows.
The Renewable Resources Foundation, Alaska Marine Conservation Council, and Alaska Youth for Environmental Action are teaming up again for the Fur Rondy Parade. After a great turn out last year (and a lot of fun), we are looking for an even bigger and better float this year!
A glimpse into the live of Bristol Bay people highlighting the importance of healthy ecosystems and salmon runs and some aspects of the culture that could be negatively affected by the large scale mining like the Pebble Mine in Bristol Bay.
